The RBT can support one attached USB printer and an IP printer but not two physically attached USB printers.
How can I access the quick setup on the RBT?
To access the Quick Setup on the RBT, press and hold the space bar when the blue startup screen is displayed and then when the RBT progress bar starts loading the space bar can be released.
Note:
Copy and Paste does not work in RDP.
Make certain the RDP Protocol is set to 5.0 on the RDP connection properties. If it is set to 4.0 the cut/paste will not work.
The Affirmative (and Compumaster) 122 keys keyboard do not work on the RBT. However, it works on the LTC as long as the user selects 122 Keys option in the emulation properties.
It is possible to change the wallpaper on the RBT-366, the best way to do this is to have a .jpg file of the image you wish to use available on a network share that is reachable by the RBT-366. Then open up an xterm linux shell on the unit by going to Start -> Programs -> Shells -> XTerm, and enter the command:
smbmount //<servername>/<sharename> /remote –o username=<username>,password=<password>
This will mount the network share on the RBT. Then type cp /remote/filename.jpg /tmp/config/files, reboot the RBT and when it comes up it will have the new image as its desktop wallpaper.
To get rid of background image... open a shell, use commands rm /tmp/config/files/*.jpg freeze
If a customer is changing from a dumb terminal to an RBT and they have Symbol Scanners (LS-4000/4004), according to Symbol, the cable needs to be replaced with part number STI-85-0200 which is a USB 1/2/3 Smart Synapse Cable.
I am experiencing a problem with a wireless connection where if the user is not an administrator but a power user or restricted user, they cannot connect because of database initialization or corruption.

PLEASE NOTE: The first URL explains how to manually remove the database - this is important! Also, you can export the profiles and then import them. The new Intel version has been tested and it does work correctly.
