BOSaNOVA Web Printing

  1. After upgrading to the latest version of BOSaNOVA Web from Jadvantage the printer spooler keeps trying to install over and over again.
  2. Trying to install the printer client and I am getting a 16-bit error.
  3. Does Web Spooler require a specific browser?
  4. I need to use a specific customized object in my printer session.

 

After upgrading to the latest version of BOSaNOVA Web from Jadvantage the printer spooler keeps trying to install over and over again.

Most likely the servers.jtn file was copied from the old server to the new.  Edit the servers.jtn file (found in the root directory of the server) using Notepad and change the Printer.Ver=3.0X to Printer.Ver=3.05 - save and install printer client once again.

Trying to install the printer client and I am getting a 16-bit error.

First try to copy the win\repair\autoexec.nt file to Win\system32

Does Web Spooler require a specific browser?

Yes, Web Spooler only works with Microsoft Internet Explorer.

We now support customized objects in BNW - the customized object can be selected from the printer session configuration.
